STACY Foundation began in the quiet moments when young people finally felt safe enough to share what they were going through. Through years of working to protect and support students, we saw a pattern that was impossible to ignore.
For years, the work of guarding the well-being of students revealed a heartbreaking, consistent pattern. We watched incredibly capable, bright-eyed children and teens hit ceilings they didn’t build. We saw them shrinking themselves to fit into circumstances they didn’t choose.
We recognized that these barriers come in four distinct forms, and we knew we had to address them all.
We believe every child and young person deserves the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their family circumstances, background, internal struggles or environment.
Home should be a sanctuary, but for many children it is a source of immense pressure, generational trauma or limited resources. Too many children carry the heavy, adult burdens of their households, leaving little room for them to simply be children.
Some of the hardest barriers cannot be seen. We see young people battling self-doubt, anxiety, low self-esteem and the belief that they are simply not enough. We want to help replace that inner critic with confidence, self-worth and the belief that their future can be different.
No child’s future should be written by the socioeconomic circumstances they were born into. We see the gap between raw talent and real opportunity, and we believe a young person’s starting line should never dictate their finish line.
A seed cannot grow in toxic soil. Unsafe communities, limited resources and systems that overlook vulnerable people can shape what young people believe is possible. We work to create environments where children and communities can grow.
STACY Foundation was created to be the bridge over these barriers.
We support, protect and empower children and families through sustainable community programmes in health, education, mental health and counselling, safeguarding and child protection, youth entrepreneurship empowerment, and community development.

Through clean water, maternal healthcare, nutrition and child safeguarding, we help secure the basic conditions children and families need to survive and live with dignity.

Through education and mental health and psychosocial support, we help young people build emotional resilience, confidence and a stronger sense of self-worth.
Through vocational training, digital skills, entrepreneurship and mentorship, we help young people and caregivers develop skills and opportunities for greater economic independence.
